Feb 19, 2025 | Appearances and Awareness in Dzogchen

This session centres on the Dzogchen phrase “vision is mind,” examining how appearances and perception are understood within the view of inseparability from awareness. Participants engage with the distinction between conceptual understanding and direct recognition, and raise questions about how insight can be stabilised beyond intellectual interpretation. The conversation includes reflections on working with ordinary perception in meditation, as well as how awareness can be sustained in daily life. Examples and explanations are offered to clarify the relationship between inner experience, sensory phenomena, and recognition of the nature of mind.
